We really enjoyed seeing Dali's house and learning more about him. His house definitely reflected his personality! It is a bit out of the way, but worth seeing (in addition to the Dali Theater-Museum) Full review by goneinaheartbeat

We plan to get tickets thru website recently and it appeared that tickets are not available for web. How can we buy tickets since we can’t access phone call? We are Deaf family. Will you accept our orders via email? We’d like to visit the House on Wednesday, June 19th. Please let us know ASAP. Thanks.

Dear All, we plan to visit the Dali Museum house in early May. How can we get to it from Barcelona by public transport and how long does it take to reach the museum? We shall look forward for your answers as to plan our trip. B/r Bisser

Following is a sinopsis of our day trip to Figures and Port Lligat. You can find a bus to get you to Figures and possibly one to Port Lligat, but you would have to make it a two day trip to get back to Barcelona. We would recommend this tour group. They are located across the street from Palau de la Musica. We arranged the tour before we got to Barcelona, but you could do it from there as well. Tours4Fun office open and we checked in for our tour. This organization runs several different tours related to Barcelona and the surrounding area. Wendy was our tour guide on our Costa Brava Day Trip with Salvador Dali Theatre-Museum tour. She lead the group of 13 on a short walk to an awaiting bus. It was a two hour trip via toll road to our first stop in Figueres for the Dali Theatre-Museum. After visiting here for the morning we drove over the mountain and into the coastal town of Cadaques were we had lunch on our own. After lunch it was a short ride to Dali’s former home in Port Lligat for a tour. When this tour was complete we boarded our bus for the two hour trip back to Barcelona. The tours of his theatre-museum and home were very interesting and informative. We could have used a little more time in Cadaques to look around after lunch. Our only disappointment was the fact we had to outlay an additional 11 Euro per person for the visit to his home. This was not explained in the paperwork we received when we signed up for the tour. Our guide pointed out this charge was explained on their website, but not on the overview we received. Otherwise we enjoyed this tour tremendously and would recommend it highly.
