The completely renovated historic home is centrally located in the charming town of Lewes, Delaware. The Italianate style home, built in 1871, has been brought back to its original glory -- preserving all the historical elements of the home, including 11 foot ceilings and original plaster moldings, while also including modern updates providing a comfortable setting to enjoy the town of Lewes and the nearby Delaware beaches. The home is located 3 blocks from Second Street, the main street of Lewes, featuring quaint shops and numerous dining options. The Delaware Bay beach is an easy half mile walk and the pristine Atlantic ocean beaches of Cape Henlopen State Park are a short 3 mile drive from the home. Note : We will be accepting bookings for the 2022 seasons starting the first week of January 2022. The rental period will be from Sunday to Sunday for a 7 night minimum stay . Bed linens, and bath and beach towels are provided at no additional charge.
