ABC's longest running medical drama will premiere its 21st season later this month. After the season 20 finale aired in May, the inner turmoil between the staff at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital is just ramping up.

Catherine Fox ( Debbie Allen ), who fired several doctors in Season 20, continues to cause turmoil and continues to butt heads with Meredith Grey ( Ellen Pompeo ). Miranda Bailey ( Chandra Wilson) is seen slapping Catherine across the face due to their issues.

Jesse Williams makes a return to the hit medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," and he's joined by another familiar face. Ellen Pompeo, who plays Dr. Meredith Grey will also guest star for seven episodes during the 21st season.

Grey's Anatomy fans need season 21, stat - especially after that spring cliffhanger where multiple doctors were fired. "I'm really excited for fans to see how we get out of the end of last season," Grey's showrunner Meg Marinis told Entertainment Weekly in September 2024.
