Archer-Daniels-Midland Co's chief compliance officer, Ben Bard, is leaving the company early next year for personal reasons, the company said on Wednesday.

ADM said its compliance head will leave the company for personal reasons, an executive change that comes as the agriculture company faces a raft of accounting issues that have led to the departure of its chief financial officer.

Ben Bard, who joined ADM about a decade ago, departs at a time when a months-long scandal has wiped almost $12 billion off the value of the commodities trader.

Archer Daneils Midland (NYSE:ADM) said Wednesday chief compliance officer Ben Bard will leave the company early next year for personal reasons, a move that comes as ADM faces accounting issues that have led to the departure of its CFO.
