The Florida State basketball team hosts UF, whose coach, Todd Golden, is under a Title IX investigation after women said he stalked them over a year.

Todd Golden made his first public appearance on Monday night, four days after allegations surfaced accusing the University of Florida head basketball coach of sexual harassment, exploitation and stalking involving multiple female students.

The University of Florida received a formal Title IX complaint on Golden Sept. 27 alleging that he engaged in various conduct that potentially violated the UF Gender Equity Policy.

The women who’ve accused Golden of stalking allege the Gators men’s basketball head coach would take photos of them walking or driving in public and send those photos to them on multiple occasions, according to the Title IX complaint. He would also allegedly show up to locations where he knew those women would be.

The formal Title IX complaint against Todd Golden includes allegations of sexual exploitation, sexual harassment and stalking. The complaint alleges that for over a year, Golden specifically aimed these behaviors toward UF students.

With Florida basketball coach Todd Golden facing sexual allegations from multiple women and not issuing denial, the UF administration is left to navigate a PR mess.
