The Big Island of Hawaii's Kahaualea Natural Area Reserve and the Captain's Trail are closed with Kilauea erupting.

A popular city park and walking trail in Milton were closed for two days for repair work but thankfully, they’ll be reopening soon.

Officials described the outbreak was an "unprecedented situation," and said the park trail remain closed while "preventative measures" were undertaken.
