(NEXSTAR) — While seniors are on track to benefit from a cost-of-living adjustment to their Social Security payments in 2025, they will also be faced with increased costs for their healthcare as certain Medicare premiums are set to become more expensive.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced Medicare Part B premiums and the annual deductible will increase in 2025. The monthly premium for Medicare Part B, the part that covers routine screenings, home healthcare, doctor’s visits and outpatient services, will go to $185, an increase of $10.30.
