It was revealed a few days ago that The Weeknd would deliver an “Apple Immersive” experience called “ Open Hearts ” via the Apple Vision Pro mixed-reality headset platform on November 15. Well, that’s today, so the new song is here.

While not enough to make me purchase a Vision Pro, unique experiences like this are what's sold me on mixed reality.

Apple and The Weeknd are officially bringing “a breathtaking immersive music experience” to the Vision Pro. A rep for the iPhone developer reached out today with word of that experience, The Weeknd: Open Hearts.

Per a press release, the experience – entitled The Weeknd: Open Hearts – marks the first immersive music experience captured in Apple Immersive Video, and utilizes “a remarkable 180-degree media format that leverages ultra-high-resolution immersive video and Spatial Audio to place viewers in the center of the action.”
