AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department (APD) issued a SWAT call in southeast Austin Friday afternoon. According to a post on X, the department said SWAT was responding to a barricaded subject in the 2200 block of Cromwell Circle, near East Riverside Drive.

AUSTIN, Texas - A suspect is now in custody following an hours-long SWAT standoff in Southeast Austin.
