BAY CITY, MI – Police have identified the human remains found in the Saginaw River in Bay City as a 41-year-old man who had recently been reported missing. Officials with the Bay City Department of Public Safety on Thursday evening, Sept. 19, identified the victim as Justie Stilwell.

Human remains were found near the Edward Golston Boat Launch near the Independence Bridge on Bay City's north side Wednesday evening.

Bay City Department of Public Safety is investigating a suspicious death after suspected human remains were found. Officers were called Wednesday evening to the Edward Golson Boat Launch at 1600 N. Johnson St. for a report of human remains being located.

Remains of 41-year-old Justie Stilwell were recovered near the Edward Golson Boat Launch Wednesday. The area is closed to the public Friday morning as police continue their investigation.
