Cappell Fire initially started today at 12:26 a.m. in Humboldt County. It has burned three acres of federal land managed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, an increase of three acres since the last update. There is currently no information on the containment of the fire and its cause has yet to be determined.

Kwong, Orange County's health officer, on Friday reissued an emergency declarationn for the Airport fire that began Sept. 9 and has so far consumed more than 23,000 acres.

Orange County launched a website and plans to open an assistance center to provide residents with information about recovering from the Airport Fire.

CT The pipeline fire that burned for four days on the border of Deer Park and La Porte has finally stopped burning. The flame stopped hours after police said human remains were found inside the white SUV that was pulled from the site on Thursday morning.

With the fire substantially smaller since it began on Monday, police were able to access the area around the pipeline in Deer Park. Investigators removed the white SUV and towed i
