Feb 1, 2021 · Tata Safari 2.0L Diesel AT Review. The Safari is powered by the same 2.0L diesel engine as the Harrier, Compass & Hector. Called "Kryotec170", the motor produces 168 BHP (@ 3,750 rpm) & 350 Nm (@ 1,750 - 2,500 rpm) and is mated to a 6-speed MT or AT. One line summary = the AT is the gearbox to buy, don't even consider the MT.

BHPian drift2race recently shared this with other enthusiasts: My sister has a 2023 Safari (bought in October 2023) and has roughly done 9000 km since.

Feb 1, 2021 · Tata Safari Cons: • Heavy steering gets cumbersome at parking / u-turn / crawling speeds (<5 km/h) • 3rd row access is too difficult in the captain seat variant. • Negligible boot space with all the seats up - a paltry 73 liters. • Safari AT’s focus is on smoothness & comfort; gearbox is not the most responsive.

Feb 22, 2024 · Variant: Tata Safari Accomplished + DK (AT) Amount: Rs 33,74,976. Date: 31st Jan 2024. I have asked the dealer agent multiple times if the car condition is good and I will buy only if the condition is good, even before paying the amount. We checked car ourselves but didn't find any major issues other than ignorable small paint scratches and dust.

Here, the 2.2L, 16-valve diesel with a variable geometry turbocharger produces 154 BHP (4,000 rpm) and as the name indicates, 400 Nm of torque (1,750 - 2,500 rpm).

Oct 15, 2023 · But one thing I must give to Tata. Me and my wife felt at home instantly inside the Safari, after trying both XUv700, Alcazar and Hector. The ergonomics, ride quality, steering feedback, just the feel of the wheel etc., were too adjacent to the Elantra to ignore. So coming back to the long ride, it was amazing.
